Granted, a DJ might not be be able to save a life, but a good DJ can turn a party into a moment you will never forget.

In that context DJ is not about playing songs in a sequence. A good DJ recognises the dynamic, mood and wishes of the dancers and thus is able to create a successful party.

As a DJ it is most important to me to have a well sorted and always  up to date music collection, musicality and mixing techniques that fit to the music.

My home base is in Augsburg (Germany) and my  musical journey began in my early youth when I got a guitar for my birthday. After three years of self-study I played as lead guitarist in my first band (heavy metal). This was followed by numerous other bands and a slow but steady musical change towards Funk&Soul. When I attended my first salsa course in 2007, which I somehow "slipped" into, I discovered my enthusiasm for Latin music. I've always been a fan of bands like Carlos Santana or Miami Sound Machine, but I didn't know that their musical roots are in Latin music. The piano solo in the song "Conga" by Miami Sound Machine has always fascinated me and now I finally knew what it is (salsa).

In 2009 my passion for bachata was finally awakened with the YouTube video by Ataca and La Alemana for the song "Te Extrano". It was similar with Kizomba through a video by Felicien and Isabelle to the song "Soha Mil Pasos".

In 2018 I DJed at a salsa party for the first time and since then I have accompanied the dancers musically at many parties and festivals through the night.
